Colors can be used to spice up boring walls, revamp common areas or even be used as part of your interior graphic design.

Yes, as previously mentioned, walls can be painted any of these colors to transform a drab office, but you should also consider what goes on those walls other than paint.

Both art and interior graphics can serve as focal points for an office. They can inspire employees, be a source of motivation and even be a great way to start a conversation with visitors. Furthermore, studies show a decorated office can improve employee wellness, job performance and underscore your branding.

According to a study from BOSTI Associates, “There is a clear correlation between how people experience the offices they work in and their productivity levels on the job, including job performance, satisfaction and their ability to communicate with each other.”

When designing interior graphics for your office, be sure to choose colors that work with your employees’ personalities and needs in addition to choosing images that inspire, motivate, calm or spark creativity.

Color psychology has found plenty of links between the colors we wear and how we’re perceived by others. The study of color also found the colors represented in a workplace can help or hinder when it comes to problem solving, creative thinking and stress management. For example, the color red in the workplace is considered to be best in environments that require employees to pay attention to detail, but blue is ideal for creative workplaces that don’t require as much stringency.
