Some projects come together practically overnight, but others are years in the making. In the beginning of 2018, Signature Graphics began working with DocuVault — a New Jersey company that offers secure document storage and on-site shredding services.
Their fleet of three trucks were unmarked blank canvasses that were missing an opportunity to promote their brand. Our design team worked with DocuVault, taking their original mockup and consulting with them as the design evolved and changed.
This can be a complex undertaking. Fleet graphics involve many different people in an organization — marketing, logistics, and fleet management. With all these different people and departments involved, the design approval process can be quite lengthy.

The designs for DocuVault’s fleet ended up being bold and colorful — and complicated, combining a partial wrap on the rear of the vehicles with digitally cut graphics that really made the vehicles stand out.
Previously, when a DocuVault truck went to a location for on-site shredding or to pick up boxes of documents for secure storage, the nondescript black trucks added no value or awareness of the business.
Now when those trucks are on the road or pulling into a business, they send a message. They represent DocuVault, and increase brand awareness for the company.
